Ballpark Figure Booking is a music and arts organization — we organize live music and art events across Long Island and the larger tri-state area.

In 2025, we put on 23 music & art events, including the PAC • MoCA Skate Festival (an art, music, film, and skateboarding festival), multiple art gallery pop ups, a collaborative listening walk club, a book launch event for Liz Pelly (Spotify's least favorite author), and a ton of cool concerts with up-and-coming independent talent. We were awarded a Suffolk County Cultural Competitive grant (2025) for our combination art workshop and diy concert series, "Songs and Zines".

We use our live event experience to better understand the needs of visual artists and musicians.

Ballpark Figure Booking was founded by Basia Kurlender, a visual artist and musician. Formally trained at Pratt Institute, Basia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (summa cum laude) and worked as an artist for 6+ years. In addition to Ballpark Figure Booking, Basia owns her own graphic design studio, GREAT BETTER BEST, which has been trusted by many large clients, including Snapchat, McDonald's, Venmo, Vans, Nike, Peloton, Nordstrom, Rite Aid, The North Face Company, and Patreon.

Basia's experience and connections in multiple industries — advertising, graphic design, fine arts, and concert promotion — provides her with the skills and expertise to help others achieve their creative goals.

Our staff — comprised of independent musicians and artists — also understands the challenge of dividing attention between creative pursuits and necessary administrative tasks (like creating promotional social media videos, writing press releases, pitching to labels/galleries, etc.). We help take some of the logistical jobs off of your plate & give you back time and energy, so you can focus on creating while still growing your career.

In Ballpark’s first year, our social audience grew from 50 Instagram followers to 1.65K — a 3,200% increase Year over Year (YoY). In this timeframe, we also had a monthly average growth rate of ~35%.

Including governmental institutions like New York State Council on the Arts and the Village of Patchogue as well as community-oriented nonprofits like Sweetbriar Nature Center, Museum of Contemporary Art Long Island, and Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center. We're also trusted by national brands like D'Addario and Bitchin' Sauce to promote their products at our events.

We love working with such a wide variety of musicians, artists, sponsors, and partners, and we pride ourselves on our willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to partners' individual needs.

We treat people of all identities and walks of life with the same respect and understanding. Our shows are welcoming spaces. We believe in including people, and we are always striving towards greater accessibility.

Typical managers work on a percentage model — meaning artists must earn significant income from their work, which makes management virtually impossible for most creatives.

Our accessible system gives artists of all sizes the chance to gain representation and grow their careers.
Unlike traditional management agencies, our pricing model relies on a transparent and fair monthly subscription-based tiered structure. Having a flexible system with clear fee structures allows clients to understand our process and services, and also allows us to take on smaller artists while compensating our employees fairly.

Artists can start, change, or stop their management at any time through our intuitive platform.
Our monthly subscription model allows creatives to choose and modify their management to best suit their needs; artists can scale up or scale down their plan. We also offer optional one time add-ons for additional services that may not be included in your plan, like photo and shoots, album cover illustrations, video editing, tour booking, event posters, logo design, and more.
