Who is Ballpark???

Ballpark Figure Booking is the project of Basia Kurlender. She is usually the person booking the bands, designing the flyers, calling the venues, making the Instagram reels, schlepping the audio equipment, & running sound.

Basia began booking shows in 2017 as the general manager & event coordinator of WPIR Pratt Radio. She has booked 70+ bands at 30+ concerts & live radio sessions, and created the WPIR Spring Fling Music Fest, a two-day broadcasted music festival.

Basia also currently owns and operates Great Better Best, a graphic design studio whose clients include Snapchat, Nike, McDonald’s, Venmo, Peloton, and Vans.

For musicians:

We respect you AND the audience. Our shows are inclusive of performers + staff + audience members from ALL backgrounds and identities.

We generally draw 40-110 people to our events.

We take a promotion-forward approach to concerts. We utilize social platforms and tools, like Instagram Reels, to expand the reach of each show. We also hang printed flyers around town.

We think it's important to pay bands! Each show is different, but we try our hardest to make it happen every time.
