How Ballpark Mobilized an Intergenerational Community to a Remote Library Branch

CHALLENGE
Suburban library systems often struggle to drive foot traffic to smaller or more remote branch locations, while young adults simultaneously face a lack of safe, zero-cost social outlets on weeknights. Additionally, public outdoor events carry heavy weather-contingency risks for municipalities, requiring seamless communication and precise stage management to pivot indoors without delaying schedule timelines or losing attendees.
SOLUTION
As the finale to the Mastic-Moriches-Shirley Library’s Summer Concert Series, Ballpark was commissioned to curate, promote, and manage a high-value Monday night concert at a lesser-frequented branch. Ballpark delivered full lineup curation, a targeted organic social media campaign, and end-to-end day-of event management. When rain forced an immediate relocation indoors, Ballpark executed an emergency digital notification campaign and seamlessly pivoted production into the library's community room—running the entire event strictly on schedule.
